Red Wing's Historic Wedding Venue Will Leave You Breathless

Sitting on 35 acres across the Mississippi River in Red Wing MN, Round barn Farm is a stunning wedding venue and bed & breakfast that blends history, charm, and warm Minnesota hospitality. The venue has an accommodation limit of 300 guests – spread out to B&B, Reception Pavilion, and the Round Barn. The Round Barn itself is over 100 years old and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. It has 2 levels, serving as an extremely generous dance floor (or floors). The center piece of the barn is the circular hole on the second floor that overlooks the first level. A space open for the bride and groom to share an intimate moment with all their loved ones, surrounded by family and friends while the string lights rain over them. The second level also opens to the outdoor fire pits, available for those who wish for a more delicate scene.

The ceremony site displays the large acreage that the entire Round Barn property is on, with a spectacular view of Red Wings natural scenery. The hills that overlook onto the ceremony site act as a perfect guide for the eye to the bride and groom. It is in its prime during the fall season where the red and yellow wilting leaves cut through the grand pine trees that are beside the ceremony site. 

The bed and breakfast contain 5 suites: Hearts & Flowers, Willow, Cycling, Spinning, & Quilted Bird Suite. Each room has a 2 person Jacuzzi tub that provides comfort at no loss of convenience. A stunning view awaits you at each room, where you can see the whole of the farm. Matching the beautiful view with a gas fireplace sets the scene of a comfort cove that beckons you to enter and never want to leave. The 3-story manor has a historical charm while only being a little over 20 years old, a fact you would only notice when considering how well maintained the bed and breakfast is.

The Reception Pavilion does not fail to amaze, with its blend of wooden and metal casings that is introduced to you through a gardened gravel path. The string lights and chandeliers point guests to the head table, where the bride and groom can outline themselves from the scenery with the rustic, wooden, back frame behind them. The pavilion is available for decoration, capable to match any theme that is thrown at it and spacious enough to make any addition feel filling but not cramped.
